Claudia was born in 1980 and grew up in France in a musical family. She started playing the violin at the age of 6 and studied in France until she was 18. She arrived in the Netherlands in 1998 to study classical music at the Rotterdam Conservatory with Andras Czifra. She graduated in 2004 and subsequently did a Masters degree in chamber music at the Fontys in Tilburg with Jenny Spanoghe.

Claudia has always been in touch with latin music and has performed with different latin ensembles (Eric y su Chocolate,  Charanga La crisis, Sonando, Yacumba). She also plays tango (Pavadita String Quartet) and Mexican music (Mariachi Tierra Caliente, Los Mezcales). Her love for latin jazz developed and brought her to improvised music which led her to join the Tomasa Quartet. Her playing has taken her to Spain, France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, Poland and Colombia.
